The History of a Medieval Castle

< Return

Under the watchful eye of the Heads of Ancient Monuments and Building of France, the roofs and façades of the main courtyard and entrance of the hotel were restored, as well as the stone paving and balustrades.

Then, each winter, during the off season, a new stage of restoration was undertaken: heating, renovation of rooms, and the creation of marble bathrooms.

Eight new guest rooms and suites were built in 1989/1990. The hotel is now fully operating with 24 bedrooms and 6 suites, each decorated in a very unique style signed Fran√ßois Champsaur.
